Retribution for China

We are encouraged to see in good old Granny NZ Herald no less than 2 articles on the subject of China's conduct pre and post Chinese Virus.
In one there is a report that now 62 countries including all remaining EU members, NZ, Australia, Colombia, the UK and US and many more have joined together in demanding that China accepts an in-depth inquiry into their actions from the inception of the virus late last year until when they deliberately facilitated the spread of the virus world-wide by encouraging travel from Hunan to Italy and the rest of Europe, and through the WHO, lied about the extreme contagiousness and spread of the virus. Thank goodness that President Trump closed the US borders to China in late Jan. If he had not done that, the death toll would have been much higher.
China has already imposed severe punitive  trade consequences on Australia for daring to take that approach; it remains to be seen how they treat NZ and Colombia, etc. and whether they accept an inquiry at all. Highly unlikely we would say which then leaves the door open for debt repudiation and asset seizure.
In the other there has already been a landmark study which has found that the virus did not come from the Wuhan wild life market and concluded that the source was almost certainly a laboratory. The ability for human to human transmission was already built in which at that stage they certainly did not disclose.
You can form your own opinions about China's malign intent and culpability.
And further disquieting news that China has threatened to invade Taiwan unless the US pulls back together with the fact that the US is deploying long range cruise missiles in the international waters of the South China Sea surrounding the islands where China has established illegal military bases. These islands have been stolen from Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
These are not the actions of a remorseful actor (China); rather it indicates that China remains belligerent and completely unwilling to allow any examination of their actions.
They must be stopped before they have the chance to do it again.
Cheers from us in Medellin...............
