This is today's measured and truthful speech to the General Assembly of the United Nations by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian.

This follows the disgraceful and criminal speech by the current US president from the same podium in which he threatened total annihilation of Iran by the use of nuclear means. This threat is by itself a massive war crime and its potential for harm way exceeds the death tolls exacted by Hitler, Stalin and Mao. We could not believe that we were listening to a President of the United States, who should be placed in an orange jumpsuit to match his hair, for the rest of his miserable life! 

Perhaps we should remember that the United States is the only country in history  to have ever used nuclear weapons against another human population. Could they, or would they do it again, in spite of the fact that by doing so, the future of the whole human race is then seriously at risk?

Trump's speech to the UN has caused massive damage to the United States and by extension to those few countries still allied to this criminally rogue state.

It is difficult to see an end to this criminal US Government due to the pervasive influence and control wielded by the Zionist movement in the United States and its Congress and government. Note that you do not have to be a Jew or an Israeli to be a Zionist. Neither does it mean that all Jews and/or Israelis are automatically Zionist.

It must be said that these comments do not apply to

many individual Americans, including those great people who we have met on our travels. We are sure that many Americans would be horrified at the conduct of their current president.

One is tempted to the view that the only possibility of stopping current US foreign policy is a total economic collapse of the United States. In view of well-known financial statistics as they apply to the US and its financial institutions, this coming event seems well overdue. If it takes such an event, so be it.
